and Suppression with Networked Wildfire Sensors

Intaero works with Dryad, a European manufacturer of networked sensors that monitor air chemistry and detect smoke.

The data is integrated with DART via a gateway to provide an early warning of a fire and alert all levels of command via DART.

Ultra early wildfire detection

The sensors can be distributed in high-risk areas (over 90% of fires are started by human carelessness or intent) to warn of a potential fire. The sensors and gateways use solar powered super-capacitors and incorporate artificial intelligence to reliably detect a fire and avoid false positives.


Systems integration - wildfire scenario

The data from the sensors is integrated with DART Net via a gateway to provide an early warning of a fire and distribute the alert to national, regional and local centres. This alert can be verified by dispatching the DART fast response team to launch a drone reconnaissance mission.

A rapid response to a wildfire saves time, money and resources.

Knowing the location of the fire enables the incident response team to quickly find the best way to the fire and to engage the fire before it becomes established. Airborne resources such as helicopters and SEAT aircraft can be alerted to be on stand-by in case they are required to support the ground teams.
